Two-way bridge for XRP and ETH

Hello to everyone,


A couple of days ago the Flare Networks proposed a first two-way bridge to bring the ecosystems together.
Some users think that this is a great opportunity for moving smart contracts over and some users think that this will only slow down the Flare network because Ethereum fees hit a ridiculous price for some DeFi users.

What is your opinion on this? Do you see nice advantages on this or it will bring more problems and slowness?
