Good day Crypto Community.

I would like to post a question to all the block chain fanatics out there.

I am mechanical engineer based in South Africa with limited and may I add dismal success in the crypto market.  The main reason being is that I did not conduct enough research on the specific coins that I purchased before entering into the position.

I work in the defence industry, primarily weapon development but I do have a strong desire for business.   I have extensive experience in business, more specifically in retail and construction/property development.

With my business background, I have a few ideas of conducting business with the aim of achieving 10 – 30% return on investment annually.  Please take note that these values are based on the local currency (ZAR) and exclude any exchange rate influences.

I am however limited to execute these ideas/plans due to funding constraints.  So here follows my question.

If I were to create a token with the primary goal as being a smart contract to keep track of investors and I have a clear white pare/business plan of how the raised funds will be leveraged to generate the above mentioned profits, will there be any interest from the crypto community?

I believe many investors/speculators went through the same dismay as myself by investing in coins/tokens which promises to be the next best thing only to lose all or most of their investment.  This is mainly because the funds generated has a sentimental value based on all the hype that is created, however there is no real intrinsic value since there are no tangible assets.

My ideas is to actually acquire assets and develop these assets to give the above mentioned return on investment, so in my view it is a much safer/stable investment than a crypto currency promising to be the next big thing.  I have not figured out the exact details, but there would probably be a buy back at the end of such a project at a token price equal to the purchase price plus the growth.  The idea is not a tradable token on an exchange as this will consume some of the profit.  This can however be explore in future If the project/s gain momentum

To conclude, this idea is very similar to what a stock exchange would do, but without all the regulation as it will be on a much smaller scale (or at least at the start).

I just want to test the feeling of the community.  Personally I see much more security in what I have to offer than what a lot of investors are investing into crypto currencies without any real tangible assets.  Will you be willing to invest in such a venture?

You might be asking why do I want to do this on the block chain.  The answer is relatively simple.  I have been trying to get investors for some of my ideas over the last year or two without success.  The challenge is that people are to scared to invest large amounts of money into something that is unregulated.  The people who are interested but too scared are those that have the required money but are unwilling to risk it on anything because they require this for future retirement.  Then there are those that have so much money that my requirement is not worth their effort, so I am not getting joy from any of the parties.  I can also not split the investment required into such small portions that it negates their risk in terms of the magnitude of the investment as this would just become an administrative nightmare.  With a token this is taken care of and I am hoping to find a couple of thousand investors willing to invest small amounts of money that would enable me to execute my plan.

Please share your thoughts and any ideas or questions.

I consider this an extremely low risk investment with a substantial ROI% as the investment will be locked in tangible assets rather than sentiment.
