Hello,

Has anybody used MinerGate mining software (especially the MinerGate xFast GUI Miner v1.7)? I tried to download the miner, but my QuickHeal antivirus keeps deleting the downloaded setup file. I was able to download and use the software last year even with the QuickHeal antivirus operating, but currently unable to find that old setup file (there is a chance that QuickHeal has deleted it, just the way it is deleting the current setup files).

Is anybody facing such a problem? If yes, is it a problem with the software? Is it inadvisable to use that mining software due to scamming concerns? Or, on the other hand, what is the solution to overcome the problem and get the software running?

I am trying to download and install the software from the following link:
https://minergate.com/downloads

Also, the MinerGate xFast Console miner setup zip file was downloaded and not deleted by QuickHeal. However, the antivirus deletes the executable file once I unzip the setup files.

You maybe want to think twice about using miner gate. Back a few years ago I used them and they steal some hash.

As for anti virus you will need to add the miner to the exception

Hello

- Open quick heal
- Click files and folders
- Click  ADD and select folder
- Click Save change button after excluding the folder
- Open Quick heal antimalware and select folder or files
- Save

1- Create a folder
2 - Apply the procedure I gave in my previous post
3 - Download minergate in the folder
4 - and go

It's ok for you ?
Good day

Why use minergate? They many issue before and some people post some issue from scam accusation that I think will help you to decide if you can trust minergate. They are poorly scam base on other people opinion about this miner.

Check all of this links
1. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1975859.0

Then decide if you can trust them.

Solving blocks can't be solved without my rigs.

More importantly look at how terrible their pools are….very bad actual stats on most of their pools.  Some havent found blocks in YEARS!

Ignore their calc look at blocks found and work out just how little if anything you will ever make.

Lots better pools out there to use than the crime that is minergate.

Not just quickheal, any antivirus wouldn't allow you to install any miner application in your system. It is considered as a threat to the system by default. Same case with Nicehash miner as well.

You need to add them as an exception once you install it. But before installing you need to disable the antivirus and then add an exception. See the video below,

Hope this helps!

You want to mine in peace? Don't use antivirus on your PC, if you want to do some homework online get a laptop and do your work in peace, the only way you can avoid malware is never use your mining rig to browse online
