Why are prominent crypto enthusiast saying bitcoin will dip to $1000 ?

Bitcoin enthusiasts, bitcoin experts, whatever their title maybe, everything they say can happen and can not. We are all speculating here but we don't really have any idea of what is going to happen in a day or in a month. If we know there would have been no regrets we hear from those who were not prepared when the bullish market took place in 2017. We only hope for one thing, that it is going to happen again.

Who the hell is a prominent crypto enthusiast. I have been around bitcoin for so long that in the past 2-3 years my only income has been from bitcoin (not trading) and I have been trusting bitcoin at any price from 200 dollars to 20 thousand dollars, if I am not a "prominent crypto enthusiast" than nobody aside from satoshi could be.

Having said that I do not think bitcoin will ever be 1000, no matter what. From right now until the end of times bitcoin will never see 1000 ever again, we are beyond that now and we will not go back for that much. It is about time we go higher from this and its clearly shows that we are not going down anymore and after we rise once again price would be further away from another bottom and would make it harder and harder with each moment passes to go back lower.

Possibility it may happen but I am not seeing that for now from what the chart shows. We might see 2 k mark possibility  within the first 3 months of 2019 (January-March) and 1 k probably  second quarter.

There would always that kind of possibility or even saying that bitcoin would go back to $1 then its still plausible since we don't know on what will happen in future but going back with those ranges is really hard to believe.
We are tanking between 3-4k price which is good that btc is holding and staying up with this price for how many months already after that 2017 correction..

The only enthusiast who is repeating this is tone vays and he's not prominent. How long has he been investing in bitcoin? Probably 3 years or something like that. He saw only one bitcoin bear market in his life and all his predictions are based on that.

Would you base your prediction on one single event that you went through? Your parents died in their 70s which means you will also die in your 70s. This is the kind of knowledge some analysts are presenting.

No they are not . i always read news online about cryptos and i see that most influencial people do always predict about the growth of bitcoin . its rare to see a famous people that will talk about negative things because they themselves also invest alot on bitcoin  . they do not want the public to discourage but instead they are doing their best to make people attracted towards the future of bitcoin that can bring to them  .

Aside the negative news flooding the market that is also having little negative influence on the market
It is absolutely impossible for the price author mentioned to come to reality no matter the news circulating, there is no amount of market situation that can force btc to that deep of 1k to 2k, in fact, 3k deep is quite not feasible now.

Bitcoin communities are quite very strong and none as given up on the coin, majority of the investors has high hope in it and contributing their own quota through their activities.  No major analyst has ever predicted this, not even the TA and FA analysis.

The OP is just wishing for the price so as to take advantage of acquiring more but we have gone past that stage now and looking for it to get stable at over 4k plus before the coming BULL.

Well there are prominent people like warren buffet and jamie dimon who are staunch btc detractors but you can't really classify them as enthusiasts since btc goes against what they're working for. Then you have enthusiasts like john mcafee who blows things out of proportion. They have their own agendas it seems.

The only reason I see is that because of the successive dump of price every week or two. And they never see any improvements from that then that's why they may have lost the trust of Bitcoin and most of them were selling their investment to save from losing profit. But they never know that the market was trying to get it all balanced by correcting some price due to the highest peak of Bitcoin last 2017.

Look the value now of the bitcoin no happen of 1k dollars to the value of the bitcoin. There still more than $3900 they have a little increase since they entered 2019. Maybe better to see 10,000 dollars compared 1000. I don't know what they are purpose of saying that.

The current market is maintained in nearly 4k usd, But some peoples are expecting a more dip in this coin so we should create a crypto awareness in upcoming days because all are waiting for the new technology so Bitcoin will lead the entire world.

there is a lot of wild speculation, especially from some prominent people or economists. but I don't think it's as easy as that bitcoin will go down worse than last accident. there are many possibilities including bullrun. so I guess, you shouldn't trust predictions that don't necessarily happen.

Its their own prediction but no one can certainly know what's in the future. We can only speculate the price and anyone can do that but is it for real? Well no one knows thus dont be too serious when someone said the price will skyrocket or plunge.

Crypto enthusiasts will remain optimistic and will ignore the FUD because it cant help them in any ways. I'd better refrain myself from monitoring the market and just read some good news (if there is) regarding crypto.
