There have been many debates around bitcoin’s energy consumption rates and its negative influence on the environment. Sustainable systems such as solar energy can solve the problem by introducing ecologically clean energy for mining. Besides, it is much cheaper than traditional sources.

Some people argue that BTC drastically enlarges the level of consumption in the world. Electricity is dubbed its “Achilles heel”. However, if to talk just about the consumption in general, there is still little awareness of the advantages that the sources of sustainable energy offer.

A lot of coins are now switching to PoS which requires much less electricity. Even ethereum is moving that way later this year. However bitcoin is always pow so solar mining would be great

Besides, it is much cheaper than traditional sources.

You can really save up when you already installed those panels but havent you consider on how much the set-up cost?

Renewable energy not only solar energy has been the answer to keep the environment a little bit greener, just take a look at this old news way back 2018 where a mining company has purchased a Hydro-electric power plant to be use in their mining operation. But instead businesses overall still use non-renewable energy to run their operations as they are cheap and doesn't need any kind of maintenance. I am not only talking about mining companies but for all the businesses that has an option to go green the solution to keep the world green is there its the businesses' ignorance to spend a little more upfront that does not allow it to happen.
