Hi all,

We have created a service allowing to print your seed in 3 parts and get lost one of them.

The killer feature is you can print your seed on 3 parts (papers) and get lost on of them and be able to recover your whole seed from two parts!


For an instance, you have created a new seed to to store 1BTC. Generate the seed any way you prefer, turn off your internet, input your seed into paper-wallet.me form, print 3 pages.
One page you can store in your mother's house, the second on in the office safe, the third one into the bank safe.

Perhaps nothing beats from traditional paper wallet like just write it with several copies and keep it from different places. I don't entrust my seeds to this specifically it's a third party app, hence a red flag.

Very dangerous, can we run it offline? Similar to bitaddress.org? or do you have like Github repo, just to verify that everything is set straight? If you don't have then I advise you to do include it, imho.

Even a person or average dude that do have basic knowlege on how paper wallet works or even just knowing the basics on keeping your seeds wont tend to use up any 3rd parties for sure.

I wouldn't trust any software to let my seeds on print. Like the girl said above, nothing really beats the usual way of writing your seeds on a piece of paper and keep it somewhere secured.

Everything on the web isn't secured and especially if it's about your private keys or seeds.

Do not ever trust a web service with something like seeds. The idea itself sounds like a brilliant one, but if it really works why not create an open source application that people can download and create new wallets with seeds offline? Then if it really works people could finally have a safe way to alternatively make a backup. I would use it if it worked I guess.

Interesting but I want someone to audit this if this safe they have their code in Github and wait for other member's feedback if this is really safe and we can really trust this application, but thanks for creating for us.

But how can we entrust you? Who will guarantee that our seed is not going to be compromised. I would never trust a third party for storing my BTC.

interesting but at the same time a pretty bad idea in my opinion because there is a much easier and more convenient way of storing your seed which is also a lot safer and that is called encryption!

you simply choose a strong password and encrypt your seed words using AES256 and then print the result on one piece of paper and worry about losing that one (you can then create copies of it and store it in different places). the good thing is if  your password is truly strong there is no way for anyone to break it even if they see the paper wallet and the text on it because it is encrypted.
