I am currently researching for providers of Bitcoin debit cards / Bitcoin prepaid credit cards.

Wavecrest discontinued service in early 2018. Since then, many providers of Bitcoin credit cards have left the market.

I am looking for suppliers who currently offer Bitcoin credit card / debit cards for Europe.
The card can be virtual or a plastic card. You have to be able to charge the card with Bitcoin (or another cryptocurrency).
The conversion of Bitcoin into FIAT occurs either when charging or when paying in the Internet or POS or when withdrawing at the ATM.

The following providers are known to me:

Not active anymore
  • AdvCash
  • XAPO
  • CoinsBank
  • Mister Tango
  • Astropay

Active, but not for Europe (EEA)
  • TenX - not EEA
  • Bitpay - not EEA, only USA
  • Cryptopay - Only Russia

Bitcoin credit card without KYC check:
None

Not clear
  • Uquid
  • Spectrocoin
  • Bitnovo
  • Plutus - currently in test mode
  • Bitvisa - Serious?
  • Bonpay
  • anxpro

Active in Europe
  • Wirex
  • Bitwala
  • Unichange

Who knows other providers?

Who knows other providers?

The best maintained list of card providers I know is https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DRbTeMCzb4UeXI0YlAzBxMc2u2i0cN_17Ql6eMngK6E/edit#gid=0
And it's almost old, since last update was almost one month ago.

My advice is to check it out and bookmark it for checking it from time to time.

The cards I know better are:
Wirex - clearly working
Revolut - works, just you have to have an account at an exchange too on your name and withdraw fiat into the card's SEPA details. A bit more hassle.
AdvCash - it's not working, but it's very near to that point
TenX - doesn't work in Europe yet. And they don't seem to hurry to make progress.

Edit: it looks like I need to make it clearer. Revolut is not a crypto card per se. Just Revolut is somewhat crypto friendly and it's in most of the lists with cards, usually with the remarks "needs a workaround". I've used it successfully now and then. And since the "working" list is short, some may be OK with the workaround too.

Revolut is in no way a bitcoin debit card.

If you pay their premium account you can park value in BTC but you can't deposit or withdraw it.

Coinbase just launched a new card in the UK - https://www.coinbase.com/card

https://blog.coinbase.com/spend-your-crypto-instantly-with-coinbase-card-4c840e59a8d8

They plan to roll it out in the EU in the coming months. That'll be the next decent option. The fees are pretty high though not much worse than Wirex when you account for spread.

Considering how dire the track record is of all these places I'd wait for Coinbase myself.

MisterTango was an option before, I suppose it's still but I don't read people talking about them anymore.
BonPay, if I am correct, has never been able to deliver their card. Beside Bitwala and Wirex there is not really a reliable option. Coinbase yes is coming soon, but soon when? In the crypto world "soon" means 2 years.

Coinbase is usually pretty good at delivering. It's the typical fly by night assholes who promise everything and deliver nothing who are the ones who draw it out to a painful extent.
