Has anyone tried to run Myetherwallet locally before? I want to know how easy the procedure is and whether it's as simple as downloading the source code from Github and running it in your browser? Also, is it possible to configure it to connect to your own node instead of using Etherscan.io or something else?

1 yeah it's easy as you describe or you can watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_6EU1QPU0k
2 if you want to connect your own node it's easy just change the network option, or you can watch the video above i think there is explanation in it too
