Hi all,
noob here
I installed Electurm 3.3.4 from the site: https://electrum.org/#download
I have tried transfering bitcoin to the address in my wallet and it looks likes it has succeeded a2df2444c25cc61b2c11afe50fe689a2429832fc3ae4d36b20abf034379f513c
However, the wallet doesn't show the transaction or the bitcoin.

After reading a few posts here, I tried switching servers manually, and ever one I have selected still give the red indicator on the
status bar.

I also see people say they see the app synching, I don't see any feedback in the app that it is synching.
Any help is appreciated.
I'm using Windows 10.

What does it say where it lists your balance? Is it saying "not connected" "syncronising" or just listing an old balance?

Im currently connected to btc.smsys.me you could try that one and report back. Try also closing the app and relaoding it. Which of those addresses is yours or are they all also (the ones the funds are being sent to).

I don't see a balance.
My transaction history is empty.

It tells me I am not connected.
I sent to 13Qkr82BXeRxEYrFS1X3bxBm5Z5jzSiShQ address
I'll tried connecting to that address and it still says not connecting.

I restarted electrum and still says not connected.

That send doesn't seem to have worked as the address is without any history, where were you sending the coins from was it the electrum wallet? Here is the link to verify the lack of funds in that address: btc.com/13Qkr82BXeRxEYrFS1X3bxBm5Z5jzSiShQ

I'm guessing you wrote down your seed and everything for you wallet, do you have another phone or a devices. What internet are you connected to also, is it public wifi or your personal internet connection?

I was sending the coin from a paxful wallet.
I copied the address from electrum to the paxful site so I still have all the information

... and I made a boo boo
this is the address
12d8ev8jtTQygu7W4SRiEwD3kjBuhRwPhy
Nice to see more on how to troubleshoot this

Using a personal connection with a VPN.
Yeah I have a phone I can try from

If it is running android you can download electrum from the google play store.

Your address has 0.01189309 btc on it so if you've done everything else right then you're fine. I suspect it might be issues with the vpn.

Great to hear! Do you have the vpn working on your phone or not?

If not then it is probably the vpn, if it is then maybe you have to configure the vpn in the app (if you've configured it just for the operating system). Anyway it's good to hear you now have access to it at least, that's one worry solved.

Guess something is interfering with the windows app.

Very likely to be your VPN.
Check ports / general internet access.

So, you scanned the address and imported it to your phone... it just created a watch-only wallet.
You can't use that watch-only Mobile Electrum to spend those coins.
It's basically the same with seeing it on a blockexplorer, except you can make a transaction with it but you can't sign and broadcast it, make sure to keep your PC version and SEED written and stored somewhere safe.

If you wish to use the mobile version alone, you have to import the SEED from the PC wallet to your mobile using the "I already have a SEED" option in the create wallet menu. (You can make 2 or more wallet files in Electrum)

The seed that you need is the 12+ words you wrote down when making the wallet or the words you were shown. If you don't have them then it's simple to access them in the desktop app.
