One has to shut down any ability for the peasants to see the outside so they don't know what they are missing.

Yes, that why the United States have similar law in place since 1930´  Wink oh, that was not your point, peasant?

If there is lobbystic group inside your country, that is paid by foreigners, the government and public should be aware. People haver right to know, if foreign agents present security threat or not.

And another thought. This law takes Russia one step further on becoming a sovereign, independent state, as much of sovereignty was lost during the 90s.

The next step would be for Russia to repeal the law that states that international law and decisions of international courts have precedence over Russian law and Constitution. Once this left-over from the 90s is repealed, Russia will finally become fully sovereign.

The rulings from the international courts should be either applicable to everyone, or it should not be applicable at all. Right now, only a few countries such as Russia, Greece, Belarus and Serbia are respecting the court orders, while the biggest bunch of criminals (USA) are saying that these rulings are not applicable to them.
