Hi Guys!

Just a short question... How many cards can I run with an old mobo with nvidia geforce 8200 chipset. It can handle 1x16 and 3x1 pci-e lanes. So its 4 vga I guess, but what if I have a pci-e 4-way splitter? The splitter will use all the pci-e lanes or only one?

Thanks!

pci-e 4-way splitter, "the mining one" runs on x1 so only 1 lanes will be used.
the interesting question is, if all this will work on such old mobo/chipset.

You can use up to 4 graphic cards on the mobo and if you have more than 4 GPUs then consider pcie extension/splitters it's available on Amazon store and other online stores like AliExpress
