Hello

A good friend is moved to Cabo San Lucas and now lives there. Weŕe trading in a Team and until now we strictly paid all german Taxes. Its round about 30% of our win. Can you tell me how it is in Mexico? In Germany; if we dont trade for 1 Year our win is untaxed. You have similar laws?

To be honest, I`m European, as you, and a Mexican resident since the last 11 years I`ve never paid taxes due to my student condition.
Recently I was looking for some information about and found those websites with some useful information:
http://taxsummaries.pwc.com/ID/Mexico-Individual-Taxes-on-personal-income
- http://www.sat.gob.mx/english/Paginas/English/tax_treatment_residents_in_mexico.aspx
I hope it helps you and welcome to this awesome country!!

With the new Fintech Law, you have to pay taxes if you convert your bitcoins or cryptocurrencies to mexican pesos (MXN) and you make the investment liquid (getting them out the exchange). These profits would have to be taxed with the Income Tax (ISR), which is the tax that is applied to the profitsvin this case revenue of virtual assets, called capital gains such as those generated by the purchase-sale of shares or bonds. Your accountant should prepare your statement as such. The amount of the tax for "Personas Físicas" (individuals) is up to 35% and for "Persona Moral" (companies) 30%.
