the great influence of ethereum on altcoin

see in the past two days I have seen ethereum begin to grow again and all altcoins are also following an increase in prices even though it is not large enough to make the CMC market go green all and the bitcoin price is still stable above the 10k price, what I'm asking is that in 2017 the price of bitcoin went up quickly all altcoins went up but this year it felt different because the price of bitcoin went up but it had no effect on altcoin. if ethereum rises at a price of 500 $ all altcoin will experience a big increase too.
