that means the team has the ability to issue a new coin anytime as per they have changed their own rules. that's a big mistake has been made by the team that already revealed the fact of tether. Tether is a complete scam because it was even showing how much backed money to issue a new coin. seriously i never used tether again. The team was manipulating the market.

Tether is centralized and its company is shady which is why some FUDsters have been using it to spread some FUD about bitcoin price saying it has risen only because of tether. don't take that part seriously but read between the lines.
it is risky to use tether and it should not be held by anybody because it can go down at any moment. all it takes is an FBI operation to go to their headquarters and seize their servers with some excuse such as money laundering,...

There are multiple facts that are hard to ignore about tether.

This "accidental" print is one of them. They have the ability to pump the price of Bitcoin and I think they use it from time to time.

Furthermore, there was an audit of their 1:1 USD to USDT claims that they "did" which wasn't very trustable - originally exposed by Bitfinex'ed I think. Not sure though.

All in all, Tether's either gonna be the death of crypto or the life of it. They have a lot of power.
