NEO/BTC market observer?

Lately I thought to buy some NEO inspired by some conversation with the user The Pharmacist. Now I am looking for a topic which observes NEO/BTC market. Is there any topic already exists for this?

I am regular in Wall Observer BTC/USD topic and never visited this board.

I rarely post in this section, since it's mostly a spam-filled mess, but some altcoins have recently caught my attention. Mostly I've always stuck with bitcoin because I consider the overwhelming majority of altcoins to be useless pieces of poop, but as I explained in some other thread somewhere I have always been fascinated by an investment's ability to earn interest or a dividend.

So lately I've been trying my hand at staking--I told Pamoldar via PM that I own some PIVX and RDD, and the disadvantages they have are that you have to run the wallets 24/7 and the rewards are a bit random.

One absolutely freakin' fantastic thing about owning NEO is that the Neon wallet is sexy as hell. I shan't go further describing the sensations I get when I log into my wallet and will leave this to your imaginations. I'll just say that I like the layout very much, with the price chart built in along with the circle graph showing NEO/GAS holdings, and you can claim your GAS reward every 5 minutes.

But the best part about owning NEO is that you don't have to keep the wallet running all the time. I could set my house on fire and subsequently take off on my bicycle across country, and months later when I reach my destination and restore my wallet, I will still have all that GAS waiting to be claimed. How can you beat that?

Pamoldar, please don't chase me around with a hatchet if NEO tanks. I hope it doesn't, but you know damn well that anything can happen in cryptoland.

Nah brother I am not. In fact I was too fool to trade some of my bitcoins back in January 2018. I have lost over 80% value, so with the volatility and risk in the crypto industry is not going to shake me 🙂

I have lost so many of my bitcoins because of mismanagement in the past and I have learnt my lessons now.

I think you're unlikely to find what you're after in the altcoins section. Most of the price speculation here for any alt is vs the dollar, which is fairly pointless really, especially for the lower volume coins.
I've had a quick look, and the ANN thread is probably the best you'll get: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2057932.5920 ...but it's not focused on NEO/BTC price.

Probably best to look at external sites. NEOnews has a few links under the 'community' section, hopefully some of them may be of use (although not necessarily NEO/BTC price speculation). https://neonewstoday.com/

NEO has been doing well these past few days, there are still a lot of NEO fans out there and it helps that you can leave them on binance and have them collect the GAS on your behalf and put them in your online wallet. NEON is obviously better, but some people prefer exchanges

OH hell no. As much as I like Binance as an exchange, one of the first things I learned on this forum aside from the fact that most members are complete shitposters was that you should never, ever leave coins on an exchange. Nor would I trust Binance to correctly credit earned GAS. When they had NEO down for maintenance for a week (which was about a week ago), I had 9 NEO frozen for the entire week and I apparently earned no GAS from them, i.e., Binance kept the GAS for themselves. And yes, I sent a message to Binance support about it and they keep sending me form-letter e-mails that lead to no solution. So I'm just letting that one go.

Hm ... do you want a thread where you can talk about the current price and speculate about it or do you just want to know the current NEO/BTC-price? The latter can be achieved with apps like blockfolio which let you watch the price of your coin, eg. NEO/USD or NEO/BTC.

Although I bought enough but I want the price to stay where it is for few months to earn me the GAS. I am loving it like I do my Big Mac 🤪

What I meant with BTC/USD price is that I like to see BTC price goes up so that I can be filthily rich 🙂

I would love to see a topic where we can talk about the current price, analyses the charts for NEO/BTC like we do in BTC/USD wall observer thread. If I was to only see the price then I could easily use blockfolio, that's not what I want.
