SOLVED: Have my mnemonic but when I recreate my wallet the installer crashes

SOLVED:  I noticed that a website was not loading on my laptop, returning an error saying I was being blocked, but it was working from my phone on the same network.  It occurred to me that this might be related to my problem with the installer, so I rebooted the laptop and fixed both issues.

I have my mnemonic, but when trying to recreate my wallet the installer crashes when it cannot contact the server for the ToS.

I read online about other people having similar problems, and resolving it with a newer version from GitHub, but that was way back in 17/18.

I tried using an older version and had the same result.

Any help is appreciated.

Older version of electrum is no longer connected to public servers and did you read this warning below from electrum.org

Warning: Electrum versions older than 3.3.4 are susceptible to phishing. Do not download Electrum from another source than electrum.org, and learn to verify GPG signatures.

Be careful on fake electrum wallet from another source make sure that you download the electrum directly from electrum.org

Install the latest version of electrum which is Electrum-3.3.6 from here https://electrum.org/#download

If still don't work can you tell us what OS you are using?

What ToS? Is your wallet using the 'TrustedCoin' 2FA?

I'm using W10.

It still doesn't work, unfortunately.
