Hi Bitcointalk!  I'm Scarle77.  Gonna jump right in here.

I have been mining for a few years, and have a pretty damn good idea what I'm doing when it comes to setup and operation.
A couple weeks ago, I put in my first order to MiningWholesale (2 miners (FusionSilicon X7 and Dayun Zig1), 2 PSU....all 4 used).

Everything with MiningWholesale went well....in fact, it was a good transaction overall.  Upon opening the FS X7 and getting it connected
to one of the included power supplies (best looking, newer looking one), I cranked it up, and at least 2 ICs on the control board started smoking and burned immediately.
WTF?!?!  That sucks.....so I move on the the Zig1 and use the same power supply (at that moment assuming the X7 was the issue).
The Zig kicked power on for a split second, and then shut itself down.  After a couple attempts, I switched power supplies, and the Zig fired right up, no issues since.

So.....what had happened wassssss

Apparently one of the Power Supplies tested OK (even on my end) but did not perform under a load, subsequently burning up the X7 control board.

MiningWholesale has been more than willing to try to make things right, even with the odd situation of one component purchased from them seemingly killing another.
However.....the process is long and arduous to get it to China to get repaired.  Optionally, they said I could take it somewhere local and send them the bill....
Gotta say, that shocked me, the customer service was great seeing as I was instantly out something like $2500.  Nobody around seems to do micro work
anymore, so I feel a bit stuck here.  The cost of sending, waiting, and hoping it works and the other option of having a $2000 miner in the house that never gave a hash.

Can anyone help me locate this control board, or alternatively, would someone like the ASIC boards at a great discount?  I'd rather get a control board and get to mining,
but it's not looking good at this point.  ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

I am fairly learned in repairing electronics, but I cannot work on this board, and don't even know what the ICs were since the lettering was burned away.
Any guidance, or any points to a retailer or third party, or anyone who's not intimidated by this kind of repair and wants to make some bucks are all appreciated!

If I'm bricked I'm bricked, and I'll work on moving the ASIC boards.  Does anyone know if it would be possible to bridge two units to run on one control board?

Been reading back, and there is awesome help and information here.....thanks for letting me bombard you all on the first post.

It might be a dumb question, but have you considered contacted FusionSilicon directly?

Haha...not a dumb question actually.  I haven't, but it's because their website situation doesn't seem to be...well....in existence.  .com is no longer live, and there are 2 others I've seen that both claim to be them, but are selling miners that are sold out for 1/4 the price of anyone else.  In other words, I haven't been able to find legit contact info directly to them yet.  I have looked.  I guess I could ask MiningWholesale, but I would expect they prefer to be the middle man.

Do you or anyone else know which, if any, FusionSilicon site you can search is the real one?  No website (in English at least) is listed on the miner itself.

Thanks for any leads!

Well I'll be!  It's back!  It was gone for quite a while...I had stopped checking.  Thanks so much!  haha....I swear the site was gone last week....works for me being up now though!  I'll leave a note on their service, perhaps it will help someone in the future.  Thanks again!
