This is just a thought ,what would have happened if the first crypto coin from satoshi was ethereum ? I'm sure ETH will be the most  favoured digital currency just like bitcoin is today.

And ETH would have been the bullrun driver and many altcoins will always favour since ETH is the key ,just imagine if ETH is 11,000$ ? Many altcoins would have been exploding in value presently

interesting wishful thinking. when the price of bitcoin goes down as if you blame bitcoin and replace it with another that has a good price on the market. all of that has its time, remember that crypto is fluctuating where prices can change significantly over time. what needs to be done at this time is to only support and be sure of the coins that you currently have.

If the Bitcoin is ethereum, crypto might be different from now. As we all know that ethereum has no supply limits. Whereas bitcoin is known for its price fluctuations and high volatility, especially its supply is only 21 million, which is increasing popularity and price.

Maybe the OP is more precise if Bitcoin has features like dApp, of course there will be many altcoins born from bitcoin, of course there will be lots of altcoins that explode in value.

I think it's a vague question to ask because there are different scenarios and the outcome for each would be different on the basis of each scenario.
If ETH would be the first coin while still using the characteristics of the current bitcoin then ETH would be at the same place as BTC is today.
If ETH would be the first coin with the charateristics of current Ethereum then the result might be anything. It could have exploded in price or may be some other coin would have been at #1.
If ETH would be the first coin but then if somebody would have create bitcoin then may be bitcoin would have been at the top or may be ETH at top and BTC at second.

So there are various scenarios and we can't accurately say what could have happened.

many altcoins which explode in price will be only in the next few years. in 5-10 years the market will not be so volatile and the altcoins will no longer be interesting to market makers
