Greater protection is needed for user's metadata as we have seen companies like Facebook compromise people's information. Elixxir is in the process of working on a platform that implements cMix at consumer scale to protect users security and privacy.

I have been a fan of David Chaum for some time now and really want to see this project successful especially if it's planning to offer private payments and messaging features.

Have any of you looked into the cMix whitepaper? Thoughts?

I can see how this protocol will solve the scalability and privacy issue. So ultimately it's like Signal if you turned on the disappearing function and could trust the information would actually be abstracted.
