Boris Johnson is the new Prime Minister of UK.

I can say with certainty that Borris Johnson will use all his power to protect his overlord :

The British Crown is one of the three dynasties at the top of the Banking Elite. The other two are the Rothschilds and the Vatican. He was educated at Eton and Balliol College Oxford, so he is right in the middle of the Eton/Oxford elite. The big question is whether he will try to preserve the EU, or let it go under the bus as it is replaced by a modern style British Commonwealth. There has been a long term ambition to draw the US back under more obvious British control, and this can explain some of the more extreme bellicose actions, and its willingness to respect the influence of Israel. As an American born Prime Minister, Boris Johnson is an ideal candidate to move this forward.

So now Great Britain has its own Trump.
I am not surprised for that and I think that this guy is not good for THE UK. His politics may be disastrous and intthe forefront of the Brexit the UK can suffer economically a lot.

That's also my thinking.
Johnson is, above all, a great opportunist and he will do anything what can help him in his career regardless of the consequences on the state itself.
The best example is Brexit.
He chose a side of those who wanted to leave the EU because he concluded that he would have more political benefits of that.
For the same reason he left the government last year.

How can anyone believe that the UK would be better off under EU rule ( I'm ignoring any comments about the organisation that controls the EU ). Since 1970, the EU has leeched money from the UK, diminished its industry and commerce and agriculture, almost destroyed it fishing industry. We now have a load of parasitical immigrant who are intent on destroying the current society, and reduced standards of food control. Much the same applies to other victims of the EU - Greece for example. The sooner that other countries escape from the profligate bureaucrats, the sooner Europe can return to profitable and healthy trading.

The EU was created to continue the plan to build the German industrial empire at the expense of other counties that it was able to suck into its control. The big question will be - How can the debt laden and asset poor countries rebuild their countries after the collapse of the EU. The UK will be fine, and its economy is improving all the time at the moment.

I think it's early to decide about UK under Boris Johnson and UK without EU. And media should not decide what democracy is.
UK citizens have already made a decision and should be respected.

I've just read that Jacob Rees-Mogg ( The leader of the House of Commons, and Lord President of the Council ), has stipulated that imperial measure must be used in internal communications in the House of Commons. This will distance Westminster from the EU, and simplify communications with the US, which still uses Imperial measure.

When Britain adopted the metric system, industry was forced to spend large sums of money to make the switch, but the government kept the  traditional system for anything that required it to spend money - road distances, and land measurement for example
