Same with me here. I can easily lose a usb drive that contains all the files I need to live. A hard wallet will probably not last a a year to me. I'd rather be storing my coins in an installed wallet in my phone because after all I am not going to lose a phone since its constantly being used everyday. For ERC Tokens, its just the MEW, neverminding updating the browsers all the time

I use hardware Ledger.
Good thing. I think this is safe. BETTER USE WALLET PAPER! no one can't hack this wallet

I'd actually recommend using different non-custodial wallets/different addresses if we re talking bout large amounts. I personally store on Guarda and Coinomi, and I like both. I've heard about Ownr, my friend recommended me this but I haven't had a chance to try yet.

Just never store crypto on the exchange wallet.

Ownr's not bad but they are green yet and don't have crypto-fiat exchange.

to store the bitcoins i use electrum for all the other altcoins i use a multicoin wallet coinomi, both for pc and for mobile
