What is Arweave and the permaweb?
Ownership and control of the internet's data has been placed in the hands of just a few, meaning we have forfeited control of our information. History has shown us time and time again how problematic centralisation is, and in response, Arweave is on a mission to build a new web -- the permaweb.
The permaweb is a decentralised, immutable new web that is built on top of a globally distributed, permanent hard drive --the Arweave network. We’ve worked hard at building a community of talented developers building applications on the permaweb, making their apps permanently available in a decentralised manner, and lightning-fast for users.
We want the decentralised permaweb to be accessible to everyone, but we need your help in making this a reality!
How can you help?
One does not simply build a new web without users, that’s why we need your help in driving new users to the various apps that exist on the permaweb. For every user that interacts with the chosen app, we will pay you $5 worth of ETH. Please note that the exact ETH amount will be set on the final day of the campaign at 12pm noon CEST.

here Rules- Once per day, you must report how many transactions are recorded in your apollo dashboard in the thread.
- In order for a participant to be paid for a user’s transaction, the user must interact with the chosen app using the unique referral link. Without this link, Arweave are unable to track user activity.
- Participants must not also participate as an end user. Duplicate accounts are not permitted. We have measures in place to detect those who create multiple user accounts. We reserve the right to disqualify any participant deemed to be acting in bad faith, acting against the spirit of the campaign, or those repeatedly breaking rules
- We reserve the right to alter the campaign rules, and will update this document if changes occur.
- For a transaction to be accepted, the user must complete at least one transaction within 7 days of following the referral link.
- This is a pilot campaign that will run for a week finishing on 04/09/2019 and will be capped at 500 transactions.
- Payments will be processed a week after the end of the campaign upon receiving participants wallet addresses. If we do not receive your wallet address at least a week after the end of the campaign you will forfeit payment

We will be paying participants in ETH. At the end of the pilot, we will ask for your wallet address to be sent to
Kahlia@arweave.org. If you don’t have a wallet for ETH, you can create one with MEW here or one with Metamask here. Please allow up to 7 working days to be paid.
