Bitcoin Eats the World, or Not

i actually have never seen this "vision" be had by anybody who understands what bitcoin is. usually people who get too caught up in the profit making process and think bitcoin is something magical also end up thinking that it is also replacing everything including fiat, banks, and a lot of other things that concern blockchain!
the reality is that bitcoin is an additional option (a currency) that people have been having ever since 2009 for whenever they want financial freedom and want to cut the hands of the middle men from their pockets. it is not supposed to replace anything. it is suppose to exist to give people that option that never existed before.

It is unlikely that bitcoin will eat everything, even if you use theory coherently, maybe that makes no sense. The fact that all countries in world have one authority that connects them all, whereas bitcoin does not have that, then how will that authority make bitcoin main while bitcoin has no clear authority.

Maybe if technology adopted by bitcoin will eat everything it still makes sense because the blockchain itself has been predicted by several banks and governments and this does not rule out possibility of replacing the previous technology.

Like all things, Bitcoin will have its place in the world, but it will not become everything.

I think OP is jumping already to the conclusion that Bitcoin would replace fiat in the future. I don't find any way that Bitcoin would replace fiat in the future or it would become everything, this will create chaos if my suspicion was right. There are lots of factors why Bitcoin would never replace the fiat system and it always will be used as a token of payment.

I don't think BTC can ever replace fiat completely. Maybe it can act as a bonafide hedge asset to ride out the economic swings in the mainstream economy. Like how it did this July when feds cut interest rates by a few basepoints and BTC rose in value. But a complete replacement of everyday economy with tokenized assets in every sector is highly unlikely.

It is a great naivete to believe that bitcoin will replace Fiat or everything you said, what will happen is that bitcoin will have to live with Fiat and everything you said. Banks will always exist and Fiat will always exist. Now what we need to do is pressure governments to come up with laws that are good for bitcoin, we must not fight banks, we must not fight governments, we have to be able to just show the advantages of bitcoin and let people decide what they find it better to use more often

I do not think that Bitcoin will be able to eat up all the organizations and currencies in the world. It takes decades to replace the fiat and decentralized world, and Bitcoin is unlikely to do so. However, in my opinion, what should change the world will base on the Blockchain

No it won't, I think that we are just the ones thinking beyond the vision of bitcoin creator himself, the creator of this coin made it known to everyone that it is meant to serve as alternative to fiat and would be more useful within the network of those that believes in it, I mean within the people that will be a part of the 21 million limit that is set on it.

It is impossible for it to take over the world because the world is too big and being controlled by world powerful leaders whom some of them would never agree to its usage while some of them would agree, but than God that it is an internet money, and will be more used by those who are technology incline. so that dream that it will eat up the earth one day is one that I think will never come through.

There are so many wonderful  things that bitcoin can achieve but we need to be realistic in our predictions. Bitcoin just like the popular currencies we have in the world would have to evolve over time in order to make the real impact that most cryptocurrency enthusiasts wish yo see.

First, bitcoin would not eat up currencies.

Second, bitcoin is a new investment for all people, and bitcoin has not forced all people to invest in bitcoin. People have a free choice to invest or not.

Third, bitcoin a new way to make money, especially from the internet.

I think many people in out there still give misleading information about bitcoin. They only think about bitcoin will lead to the financial frauds, but it is not. It depends on each people how they want to use bitcoin because bitcoin give an option to people.

I imagine if bitcoin and fiat can work together in every aspect of human, we could get a better life than now.
