The connectors I bought on line 4 days ago still haven't been delivered. The bits I'm now buying from Amazon are arriving in 24 hours or less. I've read that Jeff Bazos is building a moon lander that he is calling " Blue Moon". I bet he will be able to deliver to the moon before the "new" Royal Mail can deliver to Hampshire.

I wonder why he wants to deliver to the moon - I expect he has heard that Bitcoin is going to the moon this year, and he wants to start accepting it.

Quote of the century hahahah Smiley Well done!

On a serious note, it is uncomprehensible how Amazon can deliver in 1 day, or even in 2 hours in London, but Royal Mail, nor any other government backed courier around the world can.

Amazon is one company, doing a better job around the whole world, than companies whose only market is their local...

I still feel bad when I buy stuff through Amazon, but there often seems to be clearance offers there, and nobody else can get near the price of these. The only other retailer I have found to compete sometimes is Toolstation. This was set up by the son of the guy who started Screwfix, and they seem to work together to get some great deals. I've just bought a 150mm hole cutter, and a box of over 400 stainless steel nuts and bolts - Amazon is often by far the cheapest for this type of thing.

He founded Blue Origin, I don't think he intends to stop at 'just' the moon ;-), maybe it's time for them to adopt a Shibe as the mascot.
