For the fact that many projects in the cryptocurrency ecosystem doing bounties pay bounty hunters in their native tokens thereby blaming hunters for the dump in price most at times. I think it will be more preferable to have rewards paid in bitcoin or ethereum in order to save bounty hunters from receiving blames unnecessarily. I took part recently in a bounty (ANYONE project) and the payment is in btc though still awaiting payment but we're saved from unnecessary bickerings relating to price.
If on this bounty space we can get rewards in these currencies (btc or ethereum) it will do more good because after payout everybody faces their business and it will be left for the project team to see to how value could be added to their token or project as I can term it.

It's quite glaring and painful at the same time, bounty hunters are at the receiving end. In some cases, bounty managers change the rules with utmost disregard to hunters. I partook in a bounty just recently, where the BM was looking for a different excuse to cut down the rewards in their own native token seeing that price of the token skyrocket after their IEO and not allocating the agreed percentage to those tagged successful thereby denying hunters of what should have accrued them.

Any suggestion on the way forward that could be of help to bounty hunters having fair treatment and not be treated as a piece of rag after successful project campaign(s)? I want to learn from others experiences on the forum.
You're right . It would be great if it happened

Projects are doing ICOs because they don't have BTC or ETH, they are trying to fund the project and don't have much budget, all they have are tokens to distribute. If you are a bounty hunter you should first understand well why an ICO exists... and yes, I know a lot of managers that are dishonest, disrespectful, so try to choose well what you join.
I really don’t take that as an excuse for them not to be able to pay in Bitcoin or Ethereum if they really want to, most especially ethereum since that is the contract they are using and that is what they are used to more, remember that they don’t pay hunters until the end of their campaign, which means they must have raised their funds already in bitcoin or ethereum domiciled in their wallet, and part of the fund quoted, they must have embedded the amount they will pay to hunters in it or for their campaigns.

Why do you think they can’t pay since they have already raised the money, I feel they just don’t want to pay not because they can’t. it would not have even been much of issue if they had entered exchange, at least a hunter can decide to take his money off.

It really is incumbent upon the ICO project to set aside at least a modest amount of resources to compensate people that do work for them in ethereum or btc for bounties or airdrop activities that provide excitement about their platform. I recognize that there are problems with airdrops or bounties by virtue of the level of ease of creating additional accounts or pushing a thousand bots to a telegram, but rather than these ICO team leaders just throwing up their hands and saying we're just going to offer them our token and have the support of the community push up the value, they should take the more responsible step and create some sort of verification tool that demonstrates their tech skills. Scammers despise hurdles and if there can exist enough hurdles that require jumping over technical barriers that require them to think then the amount of people actually finishing up a bounty will be much lower and will represent much higher quality results. It really should be a mix of BTC/ETH and a kicker in their own token for a bounty or community-building airdrop activity.

First, why do investors and team blame bounty hunters for the price dump?
BH do their job and got their payment so if the price goes down it is not their fault, they are just getting what they worked for.
But that is not the intent of this comment, BH do have the smallest percentage of the total supply which is divided by the participants stakes.
I think the team should focus to early investors token which should be hold for a long months.

Think of this, The team offering 40 to 100 percent of token bonus for the early investors!

What I actually see about this is that the project team also intentionally over price their tokens and later bid series of low buying price to buy back from the hunters and and panic investors. For that reason, they won't pay hunters with bitcoin or ethereum.
Although there are some bounties that are paid in bitcoin and ethereum.

I wish projects could effect the standard of paying bounty hunters with ethereum or btc. This would be more beneficial both to the bounty hunters and the project. The project team always term the bounty hunters dumpers and the bounty hunters are in most cases concerned with immediate gratification and that explains why they want to sell out the tokens for eth or btc.
They know about the problem that bounty hunters are selling their tokens because bounty hunters have the experience that the price of tokens falls rapidly after listing.
But also team do not have enough funds to pay bounty hunters in BTC or ETH. It looks like this problem has no solution.

developers team never buy back their token in market or directly from bounty hunters.its rarely to find this developers team.they prefer to use their money to fund their projects building.only few bounty campaign that pay bounty hunter with bitcoin or ethereum.usually they have private fund before they start the projects.we can find it on services board.

very interesting topic i must confess.

paying bounty hunters in the native token is better in my opinion but since they are specialists in pullin gdown the prices of the token then, they should be regulated. a perpetual lockdown of the token for a period of time is not a bad idea as they must have being paid to the individual accounts. The idea of paying hunters in a valid asset (BTC &ETH) cannot be sustained as they team needs funds to execute the project and not to pay hunters as they are not the project.

I believe that only the moment when the project administrators start the struggle for the participants will be able to change the situation in the bounty market. Most likely this could happen when the market is oversaturated with the offer of bounty companies and they begin to offer the best conditions to choose them. Only at this moment is it possible to switch to payments, for example, in ETH or BTC, since most of the conditions will be accepted. Soon, others will understand that they need to fight for the participants and will also change the payment terms to the best for us. This is my vision of the situation.

Bounty projects paying out in bitcoin or ethereum instead of their bounty native tokens are the type of bounties most bounty hunters especially myself like promoting. These bounties are the best in several ways a it prevents hunters from thinking about when distribution, when listing, and the blames that comes from bounty or project managers that hunters are the ones always dumping.

Such bounties are indeed highly expected by bounty hunters. But to find a bounty like that is very difficult, even does not exist today. Like it or not we will still get paid with their original tokens.
the project side should understand, if in the future the value of their token decreases.

Very painful if the bounty hunter is always the suspect of a collapse in prices (dumper).
unfortunately campaigns with bitcoin and ethereum payments are very rare.

Nothing can help, BM should get red trust when he changes the rules.
One effort to fight is to spread fud to their projects. giving a kind of protest so that the bounty hunter gets his rights.
I can't agree with you. It's not BM's fault, mate. The project team orders the bounty manager to change something in the thread. Though I haven't worked as a bounty manager and I stopped involving in the crypto, but what I observed these days, the project team members are responsible to change in the bounty thread. Sometimes they advised bounty manager to add KYC, sometimes they told BM to remove social campaigns.

There are a lot of signature campaigns are running where participants get Bitcoin as payment. Normal bounty payment won't be in Bitcoin and Etheeum in most cases. Because those projects don't have enough funds to spend in bounties. They run the bounty campaign to attract investors, it means to collect money. In 2017, some projects paid through Ethereum like Crowdmachine project, my friends earned huge money at that time, But those projects are very rare now.
