Try to increase the VRAM (Virtual Memory) to 16GB or higher value.

Make sure that you use latest GPU driver and like the other said increase your virtual memory to 30gb or more it might solve your issue.

Alternative OS is SMOS or hiveOS as suggested above.

Decided to end it with zer0 profit.

Hi,
Did you solve the problem?
I'm having trouble running claymore on RTX cards. Something is wrong with the DAG file. It doesn’t matter which pool, the version of nvidia drivers, the version of Claymore, fork of ETH.

GPU 0, GpuMiner cu_kd failed 8 (0), invalid device function
GPU 0, Calc DAG failed!

OS Version: 4.13.16-hiveos

Try to set "-allcoins" to 0.

If it didn't work, post your question on Claymore's official thread;
the OP here haven't logged in since February 27, I doubt he will respond.

You can always try to mine X16R algorithm until you find a solution to your problem which I think is related to Windows if that card can mine other coins except Ethash algorithm.

I have said it a lot of times based on my experience managing some rigs for some of my colleagues that whenever I had problems I couldn't repair in a timely manner, the problem persisted for more than one week I always switched to HiveOS and the result was always the same, problem solved.

This parameter is set -allpools 0
not "-allpools", -allcoins 0, or try -allcoins exp:

-allcoins Specify "-allcoins 1" to be able to mine Ethereum forks, in this mode miner will use some default pools for devfee Ethereum mining.
Note that if devfee mining pools will stop, entire mining will be stopped too.
Miner has to use two DAGs in this mode - one for Ethereum and one for Ethereum fork, it can cause crashes because DAGs have different sizes.

As long as other miners work Phoenix miner is an excellent alternative for Claymore Eth miner.I have started using it as a test but now I have stick to it and Claymore is only a memory now.
