Is it possible to mine only with opening an App and stay there?

Hello People,

Is it possible to programm something that people who are into this App can mine our Crypto via the App?


Example : someone opening the App and get Crypto for the opening App everytime the App runs is that posdible and what kind of mining is this?

That looks virtual mining to me and that's how the electroneum mining process works.

But in reality, mining cryptocurrency isn't like that. There's cloud mining but you barely earn from that and much worse if you fall to a scam cloud mining which most of them are today.

If you want to mine, buy relative mining equipments like GPU for altcoins and asics for bitcoin.

Or the app is really mining using the pitiful cpu/gpu the poor phone/tablet has, probably melting the thing in the process (hot and battery always running out).

Some cheap altcoins can be mined that way, and there is malware that does the exact same thing.

I think the first time I saw a simple mining app was the pandacoin pandaminer thing.. I mined a few pandacoins..

Some old SHA coin wallets (like maybe primecoin and unbreakable) you could

I believe you're talking about mobile applications? This could be done but it will become difficult/unsustainable at some point. Besides, mining coins via mobile phones is not worth it. Phones don't mine something significant. 

Generating coins in this way(esp on mobile phones) is usually via mining or viewing ads
