I really don't have much to put here at the moment. I felt the need to have something on the forum after a user reached out to me to see if I was talking to them through Telegram.

So I just want to put some points out there so no one gets ripped of by low quality Steam  

• Communication - I prefer to communicate through the forum - Via PM, or within a thread for visibility. I do not contact members using any other platform
• I do not reach out unsolicited in any way via any other platforms

I am open to having discussions about my behavior or giving my opinion here should anyone have concerns or interest in either. I may try to find some of my opinions on "feedback" and link or put them in code here as well.


Have you been excluded - It doesn't mean you are distrusted by me. That is poor wording for the system; what it does mean is that something in your left feedback didn't meet the standards I want to see by default in my custom trust list. Here are some reasons I exclude people:

• No reference links or grossly misleading risked amounts
• Retaliatory feedback - If you are leaving anything but a neutral in these cases I will exclude you. If your habits change I am always willing to reconsider but this will be after a decent amount of time has passed
• If I feel you overreact to situations - This varies based on the person and their actions. Knee jerk reactions that are rectified will still result in me wanting to monitor the changes in your habits, and leave exclusions in place

Some people get excluded because they show as default based on those I've added, as I adjust my list your exclusion may disappear if it's no longer necessary. While I have not kept up with exactly how voting works for DT1 , I also want to do Default trust a service for newbies who will rely on it. So I'm trying to make sure that whatever votes I have out there are elevating members that meet my vision of the feedback system.

It would really help a lot if the members who have contacted you provided some screenshots of the conversation as well as providing the TG username of your impersonator. You were not the first guy to be impersonated in the forum through telegram, some people even claim that they are BCT staff/DT member and will ask for a payment to remove the user's negative trust in the forum. Now I'm wondering what the impersonator is trying to claim in order to scam the members in Telegram, you being a DT member seems to have a relation to it.

You're right. I didn't think to ask this time around, I sorta went into quick reply mode, so much that I think my first and only answer was "no". I then sent another message with more words for clarity. What can I say first time jitters.
In the future I'll try and get some more information from them. They did respond letting me know their grammar and grasp of English gave them away.

I wish I had asked what kind of deal they tried to swing. II'm kind of active in currency exchange and the marketplace as well, I like to try and trade/buy/sell through the forum before going elsewhere. I'm just glad the member had the foresight to reach out to my account on the forum directly.

Made some small additions to the OP to cover exclusions. In case anyone is curious why they were excluded by me. I hope that I stressed enough that this does not mean they are distrusted, that's a poor choice of words. I did this as I noticed someone I excluded has don't the same - I don't mind - it just crossed my mind they may have taken my exclusion the wrong way.

Well I must admit I've been looking forward to this day for some time. I honestly thought I would be one of the members who waits until the bitter end of the activity requirement.

Today I'm a Mudda F'in Legendary member. Sorry but I gotta mention the merit system, because hell it does feel good to know that I not only put in the time... well a lot of time in general, much more than just the required activity per period. I also upped my game in posting and the content I put out here on the forum. Thanks to that system I've seen that others also find what I bring to the table to have substance. I think I've gone through a ton of changes, and honestly grown as person to some extent, it's hard not to let this place change you.

Over the course of this journey I get in my own head from time to time, I've always had this issue. I go through periods where I engage less in the discussion or friendly banter, as I feel it can be perceived as spammy, or bumping up my post count. I didn't come here for the Sig campaigns, but I have taken advantage(not maliciously obviously) of the opportunity they present, I always saw it as I'm here posting anyways. In doing that I felt an extra obligation to think before I post respond or joke around. Then there are the weeks where I'm not as worried about the perception and just go for it posting whatever whitty- to me anyways- response I come up with, and in that I've had a blast interacting with a lot of members here.

Maybe I'm wrong but I feel like this is one of the last things I had to experience that is open to all members. It feels good.

That whole dilemma of thinking about us making posts just to get a post count hit is shit actually and that's the invention of those mental guys who are challenged to prove us wrong but they know they can't.

Aha, watching your post history, I can give you a tag as a clean Legendary aka a nearly self-made Hero member (I'm yet to reach there hehe). Our journey really teaches us a lot, especially the places where we spend most of our time. Mine is no different than yours and I've too learned a lot on this forum while also earning through that learning and I'd like to thank:

Signature campaigns - for giving all of us an opportunity to earn while we learn and share our opinions in the form of debates and discussions
Campaign managers - to successfully manage campaigns, pay on time and keep the forum clean from spammers too (esp. for Yahoo and DarkStar_)
My fellow members - including you and everyone whom I've got in touch with till date, you guys have taught me a lot, shared a lot of things between us, corrected me whenever I was wrong. Aww I can't speak more else I'll start crying and everyone will think that this is my last post.

I have an ALT account here is the username and ID. It's sole purpose is for informational forum videos. If it tries to trade with you it's been compromised and will scam you.  Nothing has happnened this is a precaution and being used for my next video.

Surely the trust feedback you left referencing this fact would be more appropriate as neutral than negative?

I looked at it this way, if for some reason it did contact someone for a trade, then it's likely to scam. I was just going to use a neutral to tie it to my main account but I do not monitor it. I really don't mess around when there is the potential for a scam to take place, and would rather ere on the side of caution.

The accounts only real purpose is to be my on screen visual as I make videos. So there is no harm involved in tagging it in this manner.

My participation on the forum.

I just wanted to take the chance to update anyone who cares. I have been less active in the last few weeks and will probably remain that way for the next month or so. It really depends on where and when I find the time to post; or something I care enough to post about.
I have started a new job, which has been a long process and took a lot of my free time, while also working my old job until this Sunday. What can I say I don't like leaving a sure thing for the unknown with a family to support. My new role is busier and requires a lot of learning so I will have to dedicate more of my time to this than participating. So far it seems I will still be able to access and participate on the forum from work as time goes on  but it won't be to the extent my previous role allowed.
It truly was a retirement job and that is not what I need or want at this point in my life.
For the time being most of my foruming is done on my phone, so don't mind the typos. This is generally going to be on my breaks and lunch hours. I am waiting on a new monitor for my PC then I can put in some time at home - especially for projects like my newbie info videos. I hate using the laptop but have powered through a few times.

TL/DR I will be posting less, but will still be active. Still monitoring so safe to trade - due diligence always required. Will respond to PM'S.
