Current I am watching these 3 projects, all of them are Dag based project.

Vite Project,
Dag Constellation,
SmartX. <- This project has nothing so far, but they have a good team member behind them and currently they are in the distribution phase.
The community can participate in its airdrop or campaign.

Between those 3, Dag Constellation is the best. They announced their partnership with US Air Force a month ago.
while Vite is project mainly focused on Decentralized Exchange.

Because they are not coins.

The distributed OPEN proof of work chains are the coins.  The job of the coins is to be $MONEY.
Slow yes.
Costly fees yes.
Solid unit of value exchange with international consensus >>> the key yes.

Another word is settlement.
Sometimes called TENDER for all debts.

So coins are the $MONEY.

Old, slow, but that's the way of money.

Generation 1.0 is COINS

Generation 2.0 is commonly thought of as ETH, but maybe not true, sense the marketed case use for Gen2 is not $MONEY but sidechain solutions aka tokenization aka ERC20.
The final factor is cost to trade tokens in volume.  ETH is shaping up to be just GEN1 pretending to be the GEN2 solution.  GEN2 is also "smart contract".  It needs to be able to lock  GEN1 $MONEY and have oracles or escrow agents features that work.  (Still not yet to be seen in real world use).  GEN2 provides IF > THEN solutions.  

Generation 3.0 okay that's the DAG coins networks.

Steem is the best example to see what this could be.  
Vast social networks where it is FREE to tx "talk".
Fast to confirm.
And wide TPS bandwidths.
So EOS, BNB, XLM, HBAR, Libra are top GEN3.

They are not DAG.
Because they lack the 'Distributed' 'Decentralized' feature.
Yet DAG is competing with these cartel networks.

But DAG is again not a coin but a network.

They mostly can be evaluated by earnings / cost.
They can provide fast cheap markers for coins or equity.
But the markers must be settled up by end of day (or whatever risk window) with GEN1 COINS.

Vite is much better than Constellation. The product is alive and it has already developed Vitex as its own decentralized exchange site while DAG is still using ethereum platform as the parent platform.

I saw that the founder Brendan Playford, the CEO & Founder of Constellation $DAG as left the project and I logically ask on telegram the reasons. This earned me an immediate ban.

I do not say it's a scam, but I have seen these methods of responding with banns only in shitcoins or scam projects.

The community is also very virulent, one of the worst I've ever seen...

Their only argument that they concluded a “deal” with Air Force, but advertisements and partnerships make not everything, like UnionPay with HPB or the British islands with LIFE, it does not prevent the project from dying.

But watch out with this "deal" they just joined a program like many other startups https://www.afsbirsttr.af.mil/

The news is oversold by the team, but the market never lies. It would be the partnership of the century but the project remains in microcap and this from years...

Personally, I prefer to remove everything from this project, too many redflags, we have no transparency on the team and the methods are worthy of dictator communism

I know so far Vite is the only DAG coin from my list above that has a working product and actively reward their community with their dividend.
the reason why I recommended Constellation because it's still using Ethereum and the probability for it to go higher once it hits mainnet is big.

Well, seems like I need to re-evaluate their project again. I did see a few people talking shit about this project lately, something wrong happened lately I believe.

I've just seen IOTA put in the most work, honestly.

And plus, their tangle has been around for a good while, at least much longer than a lot of the new coins that apparently just popped up.

I wouldn't say that DAGs will ever replace blockchains, but if you believe in the scalability of it (which is right now completely theoretical), then IOTA is probably your best bet. Prices are still surpressed due to the alt winter. I've also seen them update their wallet GUI constantly, adding new bug fixes etc., something that not a lot of developer teams do at this point.

NANO seems to be over, tbh. There was huge hype at the start and everything just tapered off from there. It can't really wipe its image as a pump and dump coin.

I think Vite is a good pick for DAG. They already have a working product and they are doing fine. After that you can go with smartX though this project is completely new they are building the community at this time.

IOTA is definitely one of the best alternatives on the market. If not ETH, then it would be IOTA, but they need to be more aggressive on the market by doing more promotions, marketing actions and product updates, because I haven't heard from them for a while.

the potential coin is bitcoin and Ethereum, the leaders and they will only grow. now it's crypto winter, it's time to stuff wallets with coins. and then after a couple of years sunbathing on the beach drinking cocktails, and trading coins.
