Ok just two days ago Bitcoin was trading $ 7,988.1 now while I'm posting this, it's $8,434.13
People keep posting and asking why the price keeps dropping when it will eventually recover they are not looking at the situation heading to the next halving with another potential of another all-time high.
I think Bitcoin's price is the most redundant topic here in Bitcointalk.
And yeah, you do make an another redundant topic about bitcoins price  Grin

This is a Bitcoin forum so expect those price speculations would fly around but if you don't like to see repetition of topics then WO thread would already be enough for you.

The forum was made for people to talk about Bitcoin, and obviously the price of Bitcoin is a big factor and people will love to talk about it.

This is a bit of a useless thread, and you could have just reported the threads and they might have gotten removed.

There are special thread for speculation and price predictions, but some people still post new ones whenever something minor happens.

At least all of the price chatter is pretty confined in the speculation section.

I agree, that is the most redundant topic here in this forum, the bitcoin's price, but what can you expect? We are here in bitcointalk, it is obvious we will talk about bitcoin especially its value because that is what we are up to. There is even a thread here (speculations)  just for it. If you are sick of it, then report it.

I feel like it can't be helped. New users are coming to the forum all the time, many of them also being new in the crypto industry entirely. Then, when something happens, they get all excited about it and post an update, not realizing that there is a special place for that, or that it is happening for a gazillionth time in 2019 alone, or even in the current month.

I think there should be one pinned topic about Bitcoin price on this board and people should discuss it daily in there by not opening different topics whenever Bitcoin price changes.
The idea is nice, at least the price of top coins will be monitored and viewed every seconds than someone quoting the last time he or she checked the bitcoin of price. Although bitcoin price is always talked about everyday which is normal at least for us to know the future of all crypto. Bitcoin price has never been stable, rather it fluctuates. Posting about the price of bitcoin in every threads doesn't makes it redundant

Generally i dont think bitcoin price discussions/topics are redundant because this could be useful for traders

as certain information can be shared which would influence a trader to buy or sell a crypto.... but when people keep posting when $1, when $100

that itself begs for an answer!

People will keep asking about bitcoin prices. It's believed that here is centred on bitcoin discussion and one can always get attention about a possible direction of the bitcoin. So I expect more of such questions to keep coming. This forum built my confidence on bitcoin when it crashed to $3k+, only wishing I had known this forum earlier.

Yes it is, but people are just worried about their money, so they keep asking about it

To some of you the price might be unimportant because it's inevitable but there are many inevitable events that we're trying to predict and spend time talking about. Weather is one good example.

Price is a popular topic because everyone wants to be the one with a perfect call. People even bet money on the price and organize competitions. Predictions are a lot of fun so don't take this fun away from us Wink

I'm sure 99% of investors check prices every few days, even when they say they don't they really want to know. The other 1% don't remember they own bitcoins.

There are users here that are focused on the priçe movement of crypto, and there is a certain board for bitcoin price speculation. So, I think it isnnot redundant at all, there are over thousands of users here and we cannot avoid some people having the same thought and creating almost similar topic. Only a few number of people in this forum sees crypto as a technology majority sees crypto as an investment tool.

There are new users here who don't have much knowledge when it comes to concurrency, especially Bitcoin, what they know is that Bitcoin will increase in value and that this can make them reach, without doing thorough research they invested their money.

So, we cannot really control everything, what we can do for now is to help new users through educating them what should they do in order to not panic every time the price of bitcoin drops.

The most redundant topic in this forum is when the market is down and up, just for example. If the market was down then many threads will come that entitled to be "the market is down what do we need to do" something like that and many more threads about this will come.  Another one is when the market is up in which we will encounter a thread mentioning "the market is up again, is this the good start?" if you guys encounter some posts like this, you can ignore those threads if you want because it's your right to do it. That are the topics that are redundant I've seen for a while.

I think Bitcoin's price is the most redundant topic here in Bitcointalk.

It is the most redundant, but the most essential on the otherhand, bitcoins price topics is mainly what we need, but to ask the reason why it is dropping might be in a sense that, we need an update regarding the current situation of the bitcoin at the moment. We need know the factors mainly affecting the bitcoin's market value through posting new topics with the same context.

Most people here are traders who are asking for other trader's opinion about Bitcoin's price. It's actually a forum made to discuss things about Bitcoin. It is still helpful to discuss the price here so we're all be able to share our thoughts and idea about the prices' changes in a thread. It will be a big help, especially for beginners. Sometimes, sharing our opinion and knowledge would serve as a guide for others.
