I'm pleased to announce that we are removing the house commission entirely on all PvP games. This means that playing a PvP game will have no house edge and no associated fee whatsoever.Why remove the commission?When creating flashflip, I was excited to see an environment of players wagering against each other instead of the house. However, we found that most of the wagering happened against the bot (over $750,000 has been wagered against the bot in flashflip, but less than $20,000 was wagered in the PvP game modes). In an effort to encourage people to play more PvP games, we've removed the commission entirely, and we've thus reduced the effective house edge to zero.
Will you lose money from the change?The vast majority of flashflip's house commission comes from games played against the bot, and not PvP games. This means that the house commission won't be affected much by the change. We're hoping this change brings more attention and more players to all of flashflip's excellent game modes as a whole.
