Who doesn’t love to travel? You learn about the world and other cultures, you meet new people, you make wonderful memories, you practice your language skills and take amazing selfies.
The problem is, even though travelling should be a time to relax and connect with our inner selves, sometimes it can get as stressful as everyday life.
Whether you’re on vacation, living abroad or doing a business trip; you will have to deal with organization, planning, maybe homesickness, and the most common of all: budget limitations. Specially if you have a tight budget, overspending will be a big concern during your experience abroad and may get in the way of you enjoying the trip at all.
How can you save money?
Organize your itinerary carefully. When, where, what; just so you get a general idea.
Set a budget and stick to it. You can set a budget per day, per week or per trip.
Stay away from touristy areas and tourist traps.
Cook more, walk more, do research on free deals and activities.
Avoid fees! With travel debit cards that are free and fee-less, I only know Globcoin.
Great tips but it all depends on the country that you are going to visit if you are going to visit European countries, you have to have a huge budget but if you are going to visit a third world country, and you happen to live in a first-world country, then the budget is no issue to you, if you love to travel every year, I think it will be a good idea to plan it months ahead.
