The nominations voting for the 92nd Academy Awards will start on January 2, 2019. But as early as now, some online sportsbooks, including Bet365, have already opened betting lines for punters wanting to wager on which movie they think will win Best Picture 2020.

The upcoming Academy Awards (commonly called Oscars) will announce the nominees on January 13 and will present the winners on February 9. In the previous ceremony, it was Green Book that won the Oscar for best picture, beating strong contenders Roma, Bohemian Rhapsody, and A Star Is Born.

For the 2020 Oscars, the following movies are the top five predicted by Bet365 to win as best picture, arranged from that with the highest to lowest odds:

#1 The Irishman | Odds: +225
#2 Marriage Story | Odds: +440
#3 Once Upon a Time in Hollywood | Odds: +500
#3 Joker | Odds: +500
#4 Jojo Rabbit | Odds: +600
#5 Waves | Odds: +700

Any thoughts on why any of the movies above should win?

I go for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. It's the most star-studded among all the movies above. And it's also about the evolution of Hollywood from its Golden Age. More than that, I think DiCaprio and Pitt were a power tandem here.

because the discussion discussed is not much different, it is good if this topic is immediately locked or deleted immediately
