At first, I was having both, but seeing how game week 1 went, I think I might have to reduce my expectations for the wins in this very season because I will be betting less, probably on a very few occasions, while watching games more. I just have to play safe, so I won't find myself chasing after losses in every game week.

I think this very season holds something special.
I'm a true supporter of a certain club, so my expectations for a trophy is quite high. I might still play a very few games if need be, but more attention is currently channeled towards the game itself.

It is just the combination of passion for sports & hunger for capital. Betting in fact increases the level of sports viewership as those who bet are much more likely to persist watching games and even supporting teams they would never be interested in. ^^ yeah agreed, younger fans get more into the betting business, particularly due to passion and profit. most of the genz in here i've noticed those chaps really feel that they could prove the sports knowledge by betting & feel that dopamine rush. Mine is both. I enjoy the matches and also hope to make money from them. I don't bet all the time so, I think I am happy that the season have started because I will be enjoying the matches. I love watching football match during the weekends with my friends in a bar and sometimes at home when we don't feel like going out. The discussion and analysis is a different fun entirely.

It is more about the passion to watch the match and see how the competition goes and who gets to win, if it were primarily to make profits then I won't have bet at all. As for last season, I can count just the few times I bet on the fixtures and didn't bet on most of the matches and didn't even watch most of the match apart from when my favorite team is playing and probably that's when I try to create time to watch and even stake on the game. U guess that's how this season is going to look like again.

I am just like you but, but that is you. I know some people that stake parley every week. I see them a lot in betting agent shops. You will see their bet slip which will be long and staking like $0.7 which is small, on odds of probably 10 or more up to over 500 odds at times. I think people like that are betting just to make money but the risk is very small.

Firstly I think the passion about a new season starting is about the game, most football fans love to get into their favorite leagues, they will be bored when the season ends. Betting for me is the additional excitement that football lovers get, they will want to make analysis and try their luck with bets. Betting is a way for most sports lovers to test their ability to predict accurately, if they don't have love for the sport they will most likely not gamble their money on it. Although there are core bettors who can't wait for a league to start so they can resume betting on teams with the hope of making money.

So excited with league season 2025/26 starting exactly for several top league such as premier league, la liga and Serie A, most excited moment waiting for every new season about which one club sign many top players and how much money spent out. Its easily for every one make prediction about winner team looking from transfer activity until how already team preparing.
