After syncing Bitcoin core on a perfectly maintained UTD Desktop with no moving parts, I shut down the desktop for an hr or so.  I ran the executable program for Bitcoin Core v0.18.1 and have waited patiently for twelve hrs as v0.18.1 has been "Rewinding blocks . . ."; I don't know if I should continue to be patient or attempt to mitigate a problem, e.g. Port 8333 being firewalled or my Malwarebytes Premium interfering with Bitcoin Core's installation.

Any suggestions?

Please post the contents of the debug.log file.

You can probably just kill and restart Bitcoin Core, it shouldn't corrupt anything.
