It's copper and says ROGS APPROVED 2013 on the back.

Is there any way to tell if it has any value?

Thank you!

Check this video to check your bitcoin physical coin has a private key inside with bitcoin.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1yydfYJFwA

Mostly a physical coin like casascius coin has a private key on the back if you peel the sticker.

You can use this tool to check if it's registered and active https://casascius.uberbills.com/

Sample this image below with a code of 1Ccj3ngX

If your coin is original then it should be active under that checker/analyzer.

I guess that has no value in it, it's probably just an AOCS physical coin and to be honest that isn't ROGS instead AOCS text the font seems confusing if it isn't zoomed in and you may read it that way, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about it.

You can refer to this at collectors.com https://www.collectors.com/coin/bitcoin-mjb-2013-aocs-approved-copper-plated-coin-token-sou/-2748533862979667448

Unless it has a sticker or hologram on it displaying a "public" key or address (with a hidden private key under the sticker/hologram)... Then I doubt very much that your coin is "loaded" with anything... and is basically worth whatever a collector would want to pay for it.

Based on @rhomelmabini 's link... I'd say that would be around $5 Wink

A true physical bitcoin contains bitcoins. Yours doesn't. The coin can be bought on Amazon for $4.40 + shipping.

casascius coin

No value, but i would add that casascius coins were beautiful.
It was a thing back then, its really sad goverment shut down his business.
Someone should take over, but he was special because he had many machines that made this possible. Hard to copy without big investment that could not be returned probably.
