Pgp is insanely close to true data protection, but it depend what you want to do with it, if you’re sending just text it’s easy to be perfectly safe, media data would be a totally different league.
Pretty Good Bug was found in PGP so I wouldn't day it's insanely close to true data protection.

Of course there is protection, confidential data. This organization is responsible for such resources and helps the community as a whole.

There is compromise everywhere, NSA leaks and Localbitcoin secretly aiding FBI, phone taps, bitcoin traders even arrested while trading.

I want to use Lavabit as an example and the hunt for snowden, the government can also take what they want anytime they want, you either give it willingly or you give it forcefully regardless of the protection law and your rights, this begs the question is there any real privacy protection service out there, for email services, mobile communication and many more, i know the encryption and others but then again when the government needs it they will get it and all our thought to be private datas will become public, what services do you suggest to have your data and yourself protected.
In my perspective, I think as long as your information is on the internet, it is not safe anymore because all of the host of the certain website has the access on what you are doing. So everyone must be careful on their doings in the internet because it might cause harm to them. Always think on the information that you are going to input in the internet.

I don't think there is a true data protection since all networks are vulnerable espwcially when it is connected to the internet. Eventhough there are safety and security precautions still there is a loophole. I guess if the hackers only have the time and financial support, they can really penetrate on every network.
