With top coins by marketcap projects actively working towards implementing sharding, it is more popular than ever. Ethereum is planning to implement sharding in 2020, however, Apollo APL coin claims to have already successfully enabled blockchain sharding on their Apollo blockchain. Today VoskCoin conducts a third-party test, essentially auditing Apollo on whether or not their sharding actually works. This test is following the method that Digitech used to verify Apollo's blockchain sharding earlier this year, however, the best test results, are the results of your own! This is exactly why we have included all of the resources we used to test and verify in the links below. Several other popular projects have mentioned sharding, for example, Zilliqa ZIL, Ripple XRP, and Ethereum ETH mentioned above along with others. Currently, no other projects are utilizing blockchain and database sharding the same way that Apollo APL does.
