I don't have enough bitcoin right now and never want to give or celebrate with Christmas Day because I am a Moslem and my religion not allowed to celebrate Christmas day, better for every Christians use bitcoin as Xmas gift because can make bitcoin keep higher price and your friend received bitcoin as Xmas give get double profit later when bitcoin have higher price.

So, watching the price of Bitcoin going down, made me think of reasons why this might be happening now.  Roll Eyes  I saw the news of the Chinese

scam and the coins being liquidated, but that sounds like a lame excuse for the price going down. A better reason might be that people are selling

coins or using coins to buy Xmas gifts. Let's be honest, it is that time of the year and people are going on holiday, so they need to dive into their

Bitcoin hoard to pay for that and also some Xmas gifts.  Huh

Are you using your coins to buy Xmas gifts and to pay for your holiday expenses?

I won't do neither of the two unless something forces me to do purchase things via bitcoins online. Though there are several online available there were times that I need to buy clothes or the likes and the size is not exactly estimable as to only small to large I still prefer on this one. If I'm buying gadgets possibly I would spend my bitcoins.

BIG WINNER!

The current market shows that the price of Bitcoin continues to decline, I will not sell Bitcoin to buy Xmas gifts, buy through Xmas gifts, I have a little money for the income of my job, I have no reason to sell Bitcoin. In order to buy gifts, many people can sell Bitcoin to have a nice Christmas

That's a wise decision, I won't sell my Bitcoin for now too, I would rather enjoy Christmas without sacrificing the fund I have, I don't need to have more giveaways this year. I will be just be contented and happy to be with my family and we will eat together than giving away my hard earnings of Bitcoin, so I won't ever sell it.

i have changed my mind, i wont sell anything nor will i use bitcoin or any other crypto to buy anything for gift

i will ask everyone to create a wallet and will send them real Xmas gift, Crypto itself and will make them more happy when a new ATH comes to crypto,
im sure all of them will be more happy to use their pumped crypto for any purpose

ps:of course this is only valid if the promised pump comes  out which we are all expecting since 2018  Cheesy Cheesy
and if it doesnt comes, then i will be doomed  Cheesy

I sell few of my holdings in latest rally to fund my Christmas celebrations but I am still holding major portion of my coins for future rally. The current price of bitcoin and altcoins is good for buying not for selling. Its good time to average your coins, if you have bought them at higher rates.

Thankfully, neither. My day job pays for all my expenses, including gifts, and even leaves me with some $$ by the end of the month to buy and hodl myself some extra cryptos.

IMO, it makes no sense during this bear market that seems to have hit bottom to sell or spend bitcoins, unless of course you have run out of cash  Smiley

I've been thinking the same way also even if I did invest only the extra money that I have, what in my mind is what is the best and unique gift that I can give to my family and love one. I did not use bitcoin to buy x-mas gift instead I used in as my unique gift to my love one and I am very happy that she likes it as she like's money so much.

And what makes me happy most is that my love one didn't sell the bitcoins after hearing my explanation to her on what is crypto currencies and how we can earn money to it even by investing a little amount consecutively. Merry Xmas to all and may the next year we will have the best year for come back.

If the gift I am buying can be bought using Bitcoin, why not? I will pay it with Bitcoin. Of course, that is not a big amount. That will not affect my overall Bitcoin investment. I always see to it that I am HODLing at the same time using Bitcoin as a payment choice. It is not all the time that you will buy gift for Christmas.

i think is uncertain about that. buying a christmas present by selling bitcoin does not affect the current price of bitcoin. in my opinion is a lot of news about speculation that the price of bitcoin will fall. so many traders sell to secure their assets from falling prices. maybe on the other hand also drawn for Christmas purposes. I don't give special gifts on Christmas. just a vacation.

Ther are two things possible to why the bitcoin price going down as you said.

1) From china gives native talks about going to ban crypto mining in china and panning to launch own cryptocurrencies it maybe impacts the bitcoins price now.

2) Xmas also one of the reasons for bitcoin price is going down from the past few weeks maybe so many people are planning to celebrate Xmas and giving the gifts to family and friends and their Xmas plans.

Well, Christmas only came once a year, then why not? If we can feel the spirit of giving then spending a little amount of bitcoin won't matter. Surely, we can buy more afterwards as it seems bitcoin might dump more.

Honestly, I don't want to speculate anymore as if bull run will come or not. As long as I hold above the price I bought then I'm good.
Why not giving Xmas using bitcoin where your friend become your gift with investment assets at the future and have double value when bitcoin have higher price later, maybe they will keep holding with your Xmas gift using bitcoin because they will understand how bitcoin price can increase later, when he knows bitcoin will faced moment with halving they will keep hold bitcoin as your gift.

I think it is better not to sell bitcoin at this moment, why not to buy presents using bitcoin instead? Christmas is a season many people celebrate about, selling cryptocurrency is an action many cryptocurrency enthusiast don't want to either, its quite contradicting so why not buy some presents using bitcoin in a sense that we can still make our bitcoin in cycle to the cryptocurrency space, In addition, we aren't just buying gifts using bitcoin but also implying that there is a new way of spending money which is fast, accurate, and digital using cryptocurrency.
