Progress is being made on a peer-to-peer network designed for anonymous web hosting with a larger goal of decentralized power structures through a web of trust. While Tor does this to some extent, Tor is slower you cannot reach it from an ordinary internet browser. This project actually uses Tor as a component, but other systems for more rapid connections. I will try to remember to post updates to this thread as it progresses.
