Welcome to our PRE-Announcement thread, we are developing and planning to launch our cryptocurrency AgoraCash (ERC20 token) on 06/13/2020, a cryptocurrency/token for latinamerican agorists*! We are currently working on the services that will be part of the AgoraCash ecosystem (an eCommerce platform, a Crowdfunding platform for latinamerican projects using blockchain tech, a low cost DApp factory for latinamerican startups and a DEX for latinamerican markets, a 2d platformer game called "Black Markets") but instead of launching yet another ICO we decided it would be a good idea to launch a Blockchain Development Program to collect funds for further development of our token and the services asociated with it. That's how we came up with the idea to launch the Arapy Project, a Blockchain Development Program.
Blockchain Development Program
The program is divided into project based blocks in which you will learn step by step:
- Development environment: installation and configuration of the tools and technologies to be used during the program (Git, Github, VirtualBox, Ubuntu, Visual Studio Code, Truffle, Ganache, Metamask, Node.Js, NPM, VPS servers, Unity, etc)
- Forking: how to clone cryptocurrencies with different algorithms (Scrypt / X11 / NeoScrypt / Cryptonight / ERC-20 tokens), wallets, block explorers, nodes, masternodes, sentinels.
- Programming Fundamentals: Full stack JavaScript development (Node.js, React, etc.) to build a test blockchain from scratch.
- Smart Contracts: development of smart contracts in the Ethereum blockchain using the Solidity programming language. (token, token sale, ballot, eCommerce, Crowdfunding platform and decentralized Exchanges)
Requirements: No previous knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, programming, command line, Linux, servers is required. All lessons will be developed from scratch.
Genesis Block - Development Environment
The first week we will learn what a Blockchain is, how it works, the benefits and use cases.
We will also configure our development environment by installing the necessary tools to complete the Blockchain Development Program.
Then we will learn how to use Git and Github, the workflow with local and remote repositories, cloning repositories that we will use during the lessons, basic command lines, create a virtual machine with VirtualBox and Ubuntu, access a VPS server to upload our projects files.
Block 1 - Forking Litecoin
This week we will learn how to fork our first project, a Litecoin clone (Scrypt), how to create a Genesis Block, change the parameters to customize our new cryptocurrency, compile the wallet, configure the nodes and start our own Litecoin based blockchain.
Block 2 - Forking Dash
This week we will learn how to fork our second project, a Dash clone (X11), how to create a Genesis Block, generate and manage the Spork keys, change the parameters to customize our new cryptocurrency, compile the wallet, configure the nodes and start our own blockchain based on Dash. We will also learn how masternodes work and how to configure them.
Block 3 - Forking Monero
This week we will learn how to fork our third project, a Monero clone (CryptoNight), change the parameters to customize our new cryptocurrency, how to create a Genesis Block, compile the daemon, configure the nodes and start our own Monero based blockchain.
Block 4 - Forking ERC20 token
This week we will learn how to fork our fourth project, an ERC20 token in Ethereum, how the Truffle framework works, create a personal network with Ganache for tests and deploy our smart contract on the Ethereum mainnet.
Next Blocks - AgoraCash Devlog
We will learn in detail the steps to develop our own cryptocurrency / token, AgoraCash, the cryptocurrency for agorists!
We will learn step by step JavaScript, Node.JS, React, MongoDB, Solidity and Unity.
We will create together: our cryptocurrency / token, a website for our cryptocurrency, a smart contract for the token sale, the wallets (web, desktop and mobile), design the Whitepaper and Roadmap, develop an ecommerce platform that accept our currency as a payment method, add our cryptocurrency / token to the most popular decentralized exchanges, develop a crowdfunding platform for Latin American projects offering blockchain solutions (BaaS), and finally we will play a bit with Unity Game Development and learn how Unity can interact with Ethereum through Nethereum.
