Is this normal?

I started this topic because I have an oddity with merit system.

Based on this post I got 3 merit from DdmrDdmr

But in the fact I just got one merit if I see on my merit summary https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=1233000

So, I just wondering is this normal?

DdmrDdmr has given this post a single merit on three separate occasions. The first two were many months ago, and long before the 120 day cut off which is displayed on your merit page. He then more recently gave you 1 additional merit to the same post, bringing the total to 3.

DdmrDdmr sometimes sends merits to topics he previously merited after a given period. Since your post is quite old,  it's clear that he recently sent you one additional merit on top of the first 2 merits he sent last year. Check here: https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?id=1233000

You really do have all three; it’s just that the other two were over 120 days ago, and as the Merit Summary reads, data shown there is down to the last 120 only.  The two that you cannot see are there: https://public.tableau.com/shared/FQS34Z86F?:display_count=y&:origin=viz_share_link

-   The first TX was the original one merited on the 18/01/2019
-   The second TX was remerited on my first personal remerit spree on the 03/02/2019 (*)
-   The third TX was remerited on my third personal remerit spree on the 24/02/2020 (*)

On my second personal merit spree, I included a condition to skip those merited on the first, but decided to exclude it on the third, in favour of those that were still active in 2020. Looking at OP’s case, I should probably sophisticate the algorithm a bit more, so as not to remerit posts involved in any prior spree from here on (were I to repeat such a thing).

Ok I see, I have forgoten to see it on BPIP. I should check it first before I made this thread.
