not sure if this holds relevance, I bought some coin, and sent it to an armory wallet.. now i learn about bitcoinCORE - i do NOT own this software, so I downloaded Electrum.

I can see this transaction on my browser from the provider TO armory wallet
armory wallet does NOT show this balance (i assume as i do not have bitcoin core)
i have a (i think) public key for the transaction to armoy.

i've tried creating some golders to import, however they always end up as a watch only. If i am looking to move the BTC out of armory, must i first downlaod and install the ~200G import, and allow armory to then updater my coin before i transfer it to Electrum (then just delete bitcoin core)?

or is there a way i can maybe recall the money, then just send it to my new Electrum account instead?

sorry if this is a highly noob question.

You can export your private keys from the Armory wallet and import them into Electrum.

Try importing your private-keys into Electrum and seeing if you can see/spend them from there, like suggested above.

Either wait for it to sync or export your private-key[1] and import it in a different wallet. If you do that in a lightweight wallet, such as Electrum[2], you won't need to download the blockchain. If you wait for it to sync, your coins will be there when it finishes. Nothing is lost.

No, you do not need to download and sync Bitcoin Core. As TryNinja has said, you can export your private keys from Armory.

I have a step by step guide with screenshots that shows how to export your private keys from Armory posted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4746784.msg43255691#msg43255691

If you need any help, just ask.
