Currently, Trezor supports 1180 coins and tokens.

The full list can be found here: https://trezor.io/coins/ and it seems Constellation(DAG) and TomoChain (TOMO) is not in the list.

DAG can be stored Molly wallet

For TOMO, Tomo Wallet

What I mentioned is the official wallet for those two coins.

TOMO coin supported by trust wallet which is not a bad wallet because they are claiming decentralized exchange so you are safe like other these type of wallets.

This one, if Trezor are not offering any of the coins you mentioned, then obviously the best thing to do is to download and used their official wallet, problem solved. Just be careful though, there might be some wallets who offer to secure these coins, it's better to get it from the official source.

As a newbie, i do not think you need to worry about trezor.

You need to understand the basis first, and that is understanding how the crypto currency wallets work. From the paper wallet of myetherwallet, or the wallet applications such as imtoken or trust wallet etc.

After understanding operations of the basic wallets, then you can get a cold storage in trezor.

On the contrary, I think it is better to start with a good security like a hardware wallet.

How many times have we heard newbie being hacked because they store their coins in a online wallet and get phished resulting in lost of their precious coins and blaming the system? So there's nothing wrong with investing in a secure wallet such as Trezor in the beginning.

Unfortunately though, DAG and TOMO is not supported, so it might be better to go for the official wallet support. @Findingnemo provided the link already, now all the OP has to do is to check them out and understand how to transfer his coins and then secure it.

Yes hardware wallets doesn't support many altcoins, you will need to find DAG and TOMO separate wallets for mobile or windows on their websites, if they have paper wallet it will be the best option

It's one reason why wallets like trust and coinomi are the right choices for me, I don't have to get separate wallets for each coins on my phone, it's all in one multi wallet capability, hardware wallets supported coins are so limited

You cannot compare it with a hardware wallet like trezor. Hardware wallets provide a much higher level of security that online or desktop wallets. But if you are going to store coins that are not not yet supported by Trezor, better follow the official wallets for the time being and then add them to Trezor once they open their support for these coins.

You should never compromise the moving of coins to less secure wallets just because you dont know the advantages of the hardware wallets. But it also helps to keep your devices clean and updated to prevent attacks from hackers.

Obviously Trezor accepts storing coins. But it's didn't accept DAG or TOMO which you needed. DAG and TOMO accept another platform. You should search for it by yourself. I think you will find out a better solution.
