Sadly, the majority of users don't really care about their pers data thinking that phones are totally secure. Worst scenario can happen to anyone who ignores security measures while using devices or surfing the web.
Every system has its loopholes. Any kind of device that could store sensitive information should be used with maximum caution.
This is why a hardware wallet is the best choice to safely access/manage your cryptos.

One of the most common mistakes people make is to always use the root account, which makes it easier for malware to infect their system. People should be generally using their PC with a standard account and only login as root when they specifically need it - you can read a good discussion about it here. Same goes for phones - don't root them just for fun if you don't know what are you doing, you'll risk shooting yourself in the foot in the long run.

Creating a different password for each account or creating a very complex password can make it difficult for you to memorize your password. So you need some methods to help you in creating a password that easies to be memorized and very difficult to be guessed by a stranger.

And this is a thread where you can learn that method : [GUIDE] How to Create a Strong/Secure Password

Aside from making 2FA and strong passwords, for our security we need to avoid connecting on public networks/ wifi. Recently I just realize I made a mistake for connecting my device on the bus built in tablet for charging, The tab might be infected by malware so I change the USB option to "charge only" or much better dont connect it.

Just like the advice for PC users that never install an unknown applications. Same goes for the mobile phone users.

Avoid installing any app that you see on the play store. Because it can be the other reason why the important files and information that's saved on your phone will be stolen due to malware infection.

So, if you are that type of guy tha loves to save pk's or seeds on your phone, beware of that too.

Here in our country cellphone snatching is very prevalent, I have two phone that I own, I do not carry my main phone which housed all my important files and information outside of my house, and only carry my spare phone when I am outside of my house, it's a precationary measure, my phone is safer in my work station.

The advice you mentioned is good, but you were unsuccessful in arranging the topic and presenting ideas. For example:

 - 2fa authenticator: is a good thing, but you need to do it on a standalone device or not infected with viruses[1].
 - Reduce the lock time: It might be a good idea, but if the hacker can physically access your device it will override the password, it is best to keep the device in a safe place while encrypting the data.

The rest of the advice is very basic.

Don't store valuable data on mobile or log in important accounts on mobile are first things to do. Strong passwords, 2FA can not protect you if your phones will be compromised somehow, who knows there are always smart guys.

Not only about this, but also remember to visit official websites, then get links to their apps on Play Store and get them for installations. Searching apps directly on Play Store contains some amount of risks. If you install fake apps, mostly you will lose money.

+ Create a strong password. this is very simple and it not shocking that majority already do it, but the problem is some of this password are not strong or constructive - repeating password recurrently- this can be guessed by other people.

I do create a strong password , but problem is there are too many passwords to remember and as new accounts password also adds due to which i forget often and have to change again and again have to find a pattern of my own to remember , i cant write my passwords anywhere so this is bit difficult to me

The best are 2FA Authentication, Email SMS and Phone SMS, there is no way all three can get compromised unless it's an inside job

It is very sad that some people didn't care much to their security and just do what they want to do that is why some are still getting scammrd because of a malware. Setting this following feature would help making it hard to steal your crypto funds. Well, there are other things that could also help you securing your account and funds.

Use password manager (I myself use LastPass, there are plenty others available). Do remember to make your master password hard as you can, and it should be only known to you, don't store it anywhere.

Protecting your device is really important thing that you should do especially if you e-wallet on that device, you may do the 2da authenticator as what he has said, it makes you comfortable because it will be hard for the hackers to access your account if you have this kind of security.
Creating as strong password is also advisable, that is the main thing that you should consider whenever you will create an account, you may use capital letters or any symbols that will make your password strong.

Do not forget also to be careful when clicking advertisement and other unsecured links especially if it was sent by someone you don't know. Clicking some unsecured advertisement is also prohibited because that is the main reason why your device can get virus.

Truth be told that there were some that made this mistake before. They're too confident that their phones are a good storage for sensitive information and data which shouldn't be.

Yes, there were fake apps that easily fool the people who are not aware of the official websites. Instead of visiting and checking if the app is official, they don't do that.

Don't forget that you can encrypt your phone too. That's useful if you store sensitive data like wallet file or anything like that.

Even if you use 2FA and strong password, it's useless if somebody can just plug a cable and then read the storage data.

One more thing here is to Remove all accounts link to your device when you are disposing the phone to avoid leaving a trace. Users are advice to protect their devices with different option and applications to reduce theft. Lock screen may not be affective because there are ways to bypass it. Also make sure you activate remote lock to destroy your device incase you misplace it and no hope of recovery.

Hackers don't need your devices to be physically accessed to hack anything from it so all the protection measures in OP become void IMO.

Don't install third-party apps, even from google play you need to make sure what are the access that apps requesting while installing and now you can also allow this access only while using those apps in latest versions.
