UK registration number for companies. I don't know how to navigate this website well but all I can say is that the registration is legit and they might just be using this registration number without authorization from the real company.
Not really, registration number and certificate of incorporation is standard part of ponzi schemes. It is very easy to register fake company there, with fake names etc, as Companies House doesn't check that info there at all, they just publish whatever you submit. It looks legit when you look at it for the first time or if you are less experienced, and that's why it is so popular among scammers. Sure, there are legit companies there too, but if you are looking for proof of legitimacy, that ain't it. Majority of legit UK investment companies can be found in FCA register.

@OP One suggestion - its not a bad thing to make a flag too, when you come across such an obvious scam attempt.
