if there was a 10 point checklist of things to do in a pandemic
well
1. react within a month
2. get hospital supplies(protective gear/masks)
3. expand hospital bed capacity
4. contact trace all people near the positive patient
5. lockdown borders
6. not repatriate
7. social distance general populous
8. self isolate (allow daily exercise and groceries but home rest of time)
9. shield vulnerable/suspected contacts(full isolation no leaving home)(daily check and food delivered to them)
10. if numbers get to 1000's at peak dont open isolation until the isolation has curbed numbers back to double digits

china would get 10/10
UK in month one would get 0/10 and after 2 months get 5/10
US in month one would get 0/10 and after 2 months get 4/10

america are being very stupid by not doing the last point. which will hurt them alot sooner with a second wave happening sooner

China revised its official death toll for coronavirus on Friday, adding 1,290 to the number of dead.

Prior to the change the number of those reported to have died of the virus in China since January was 3,342. Analysts point out that this revision increases the numbers by almost 40%. That’s big. It’s also important because numerous models have relied on China’s numbers since the virus began to spread in order to plan their own lockdowns and mitigation efforts. In short: If China’s death toll was larger early on, and many of those deaths went unrecorded, this has serious ramifications for why things may have turned out so differently in Europe, the US and other countries.

Does China will revised the number of deaths again next time Huh
From this news, I'm not believe again with covid-19 data in China. What's your thought?

every country is doing its magic tally on covid19 victims and use it for their own nation sake some are just riding the hype to create panic and some are cleaning their tallys to control panic we will never know who is telling the truth by now but our duty is to keep our family safe

ok latest news

chinas added 1290 deaths.. this is new numbers of some that just didnt go to a hospital tracking covid. (just stayed home)
but more interesting is. that some patients were discharged from hospital. thus ticked off as 'recovered' but then later died at home.

china have updated the 'recovered' to a lower number. so be more accurate to the number of people that got discharged and still alive as of today

again this is not a cover up. but more so of not following up with patients weeks after discharge.

im sure there will be investigations as the cause of death at home. and im sure idiot conspiracy theorists will stupidly make up stories about hospitals transporting dead bodies to their homes to fudge the numbers.
but i do not feel its a fudging numbers scenario.. but possibly a bad case of 'not following up' or discharging patients who refused treatment. left to travel home themselves. and to live out the last hours/days in the comfort of thier own home, succumbing to the illness

yep even in the UK. patients that sign DNR(do not resuscitate) wont be admitted to an ICU ward
which is the same for many other countries too

FYI, in China, people avoid docs and only go in when they're about to fall over.
