I really hate to say this but, there's potential here.   Can't really call this a shitcoin even it seems like one.  Whatever people might think of them the Juggalo's are a huge, tight, dedicated community. Imagine angry committed Dogecoin types.  If this coin is really officially associated with them it'll be way up there on coinmarketcap pretty fast.  There will be media, press all kinds of stuff.  The site looks legit although it lacks dev names, etc. which is sketchy.  At the same time, their plan is pretty deep and they have their own marketplaces at their concerts ("Gatherings?").  Instant market.  When it goes up officially Juggalos will be posting and if this isn't legit it'll get called out quicker than that Mazacoin abortion.  Despite their image a lot of them are tech savvy.  There are lots of weekend Juggalos who are into it on their off time as a hobby but have ordinary jobs/families/careers.

The dev's sincere, so it has that going for it.

Interesting to see how it plays out. If successful, it will set a precedent for other subculture-cryptos.

What makes me a little wary is that "Insane Coin Posse" - IPO-like thing, as it's not really necessary, but the page seems to push it. If the dev wanted to have a little bit of compensation for his effort, he could have just cut himself a fraction of the premine and be open about it.

It could very well turn out to be a successful coin if they all adopt it. The juggalo following is strong. I must admit it is hard to take seriously though. Surprised it's SHA-256 and not an scrypt clone. Maybe there will be a market for old asics selling to juggalos.

Hell yeah, someone who actually understands what's up.

Totally agree.  I can go on about our plans, but action talks.  Bullshit walks.  Time will show we are legit.

And by the way, I'm totally with you on Mazacoin.  Two months in and as far as I know not a single coin distributed to the Lakota, and the developer personally holds about 1/3 of all coins in circulation thanks to the huge premine.

JuggaloCoin has a much smaller 2.17% premine and distribution through the Hatchet Drop and the Insane Coin Posse will begin on launch day (4/20).
