There is no need for you to look that much in the coinmarketcap if you're starting out. I understand you've posted this on the altcoin section and you're looking for an altcoin. But before getting that, do you already own Bitcoin. If not yet, that should be your first crypto to own and then follow it up with some top altcoins in that website and if I am you, I'll be mostly going to take Ethereum next after Bitcoin.

Everyone knows Bitcoin (BTC) is best of the best assets, no one doubts that. But @OP came here asking & wanting to hear something outside of Bitcoin (BTC). There's nothing wrong, he doesn't have to buy Bitcoin (BTC) before having altcoins.

To @nestor7777, I wouldn't recommend you buy right away after this, but I think you might want to take a deeper look at some of these coins/tokens first:

- Ethereum (ETH)
- Solana (SOL)
- USD Tether (USDT)
- Sui Network (SUI)
- Aptos (APT)

Above assets have good technology & have their own value in the market, DYOR before buying them.

Yeah, he's obviously asking for some alts and gave my recommendation about one that I think he should buy which also you suggested, Ethereum. But I think that many newbies are getting it wrong by starting in the market through investing with altcoins that they're asking suggested by the others. It's not that you and me suggested wrong altcoins but, what if there's some that shills him some unknown coins and he just follows them blindly, then for sure that he's going to lose money. Anyway, the ones you've suggested are also good.

I doubt he's a newbie in the industry, if you look at his first post, it looks like he's trying to shill the same project as the topic title here. I think we're interacting with a user who's not serious about asking. So let's just leave him alone, this is what I don't like on this board, too many shillers, serious & good discussions are rare on this board.

Well, you're right. I thought that this thread was the first one that he's posted and asking genuinely. But anyway, with some posts that we did and he's still not back. Maybe after a few hours after leaving this thread, he'll back and will start his own thoughts and hoping it's genuinely. Otherwise, we just leave here.
