BW and hyperbit shop gone?

(im new to this forum so idk where to put this)
So a few days ago I purchased a used BW-L21 miner on ebay for 15$.
I read that the retail price is 2500$. But calculator sites and review sites are the only sites where I can get that number from.
I know that I wasn't scammed, but isn't it weird to see a shop just magically sweeping itself out of existence once shopping day is over?
If you have any. Tell me your thoughts on this topic.
